Strolling down memory lane.

For every good thing to happen to us, a memory is born. Some are good, some are bad, and some are memorable. When my heart decides to do it, my my mind thinks back in the past. I'm 22 now. The greatest things happened when I was like 17-18. I'll go back and tell you why those moments were so memorable.

The DDR/FFR days: Back in my High School days, I needed something to do on my spare time. Best thing that came to mind was hitting arrows at perfect timing. It was just fun to me. One night, I go on YouTube and watch StepMania videos, and come across an FFR link. It led to the game. I started playing, and immediately, I was hooked. I played for years. I think in a year's time, I was among the top 50 players on the site. Few local people took notice of my skill, and thought my skills were amazing. I retired from the website in 2011. If you're wondering about my profile. It is currently closed. Don't ask for me to open it up again.

On the weekends, I'd blow about $20 a week at what formerly was the Recreation Station next to the bowling alley. I was ok at it. I think I had a few girls watch me. I guess that's how I got my first (and only) girlfriend I ever had. I guess having long hair was the way to go. Going to today, I can't believe someone actually remembered me in my glory arcade days. Gotta love classmates sometimes. Anyways! I'd even go on Friday night sometimes, where more people would watch me play until closing. I kept playing every weekend, until I graduated from High School. After that, everyone I played with moved, and it all became boring to me. Would I play again? Of course I would! Just gotta find an arcade, and people to watch my fat ass play!

Living on the Internet: I know what you're thinking. My bed wasn't on www.chadsbed.com. I don't even know if that site even exists! I guess try it. Anyways! If there's anything I missed doing, it's being on the damned internet from morning, til night, with breaks of course! I would go on sites like Pogo, Facebook, MyYearBook, and of course, FFR, to find internet sociability. I did benefit from it, though. It taught me a lot on how to handle a relationship with a loved one. Truth be told, I met a few people that I had met online. It was a pretty good, yet, awkward experience for some people. Living on the world wide web can be a fun experience, if you got the time to do it. I spent 2 and a half years after graduation, doing it.

And of course, how could I not forget my High School friends. They were the greatest friends to be around back in the day. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have played games like Twilight Princess on the Wii, or having a competitive brawl fest on Super Smash Bros Brawl. Ah! Good times! If I were to do it today, it wouldn't be the same. I think we broke everything off a year after my graduation. We just went into other things. I just wish I knew how they were all doing.

So what am I doing today? I'm a current student at Coastal Carolina Community College, studying Computer Programming. I'm probably known as that guy who sits by himself. As of right now, I'm willing to sacrifice sociability for a better grade. I've been a student since Spring 2011, and I enjoy being a student. Not only am I doing something with my life, but I'm throwing myself out there....kinda.

If you're reading this, stroll back into memory lane. Think about something you miss so much. I would love to hear (or read) about it! =D
